Justin Bieber appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where he spoke about his much talked about emotional breakdown following his performance of his new hit song, What Do You Mean? on the Video Music Awards. He also spoke about how he has changed and blamed his bad boy days on the ‘knuckleheads around him.’
The singer and talk show host, spoke about the harness Bieber wore for his entrance and how much it hurts to wear since it pulls on the ‘junk.’ Jimmy then asked Justin about what caused his emotional breakdown following his performance. Justin revealed
“It was just so overwhelming for me, everything, the performance I missed some cues, so I was a little disappointed in that. Just the support. Honestly I just wasn’t expecting them to support me in the way they did. Last time I think I was at an awards show I was booed. ” He continued, “Wanting to win so badly and just wanting to do what I love so badly that I put everything on the line. What was so special about the emotional moment is it was authentic, it was real.”
Jimmy then brought up the fact that Justin went and found people who would inspire him. Bieber said he was surrounded by a bunch of knuckleheads. He also made a good point saying, “you have to figure out what you are okay with and what you are aren’t. You have to test the waters.” Unfortunately, for the Biebs, his moments were all caught on camera.
Justin Bieber’s latest song, “What Do You Mean,” hit number one on iTunes within 5 minutes of it’s release and is number one in 89 countries.
